DRAGON'S ZOO

This week I'm going to explain a different and strange legend of Sant Jordi...!

Once upon a time, in the IX century, in a small Catalan village, there lived a huge dragon. Also, in the village, there were a lot of people: a king, a princess, some artisans, lots of farmers...
In this town, people were very poor. They didn't know how to make money, so they were very poor and sad.

One day, the king and his court met at the castle to find a solution to their big problem. They decided to build a zoo where the dragon was the protagonist. To increase the public, they rigged a raffle (which is usually done by mayors, politicians, kings and queens).

At first, everything went well (they earned a lot of money because everyone around the country visited the famous zoo), but a foreign called to the tax office to check the operation of that strange business. The institution hired  St. George knight to block the corrupt zoo.

He killed the dragon and the zoo had to close. George fell in love with the beautiful princess; and he gave her a red rose, as red as the blood of the dragon. But... This is another story, the sentimental and popular story that everyone knows...
